Below, you will find a list of each Archangel and their primary areas of help. Each Archangel does work in other capacities as well and they can work in conjunction with each other to help amplify your purpose. Next to each name, you will also see the color associated with their individual auras and the crystal that is associated with each Archangel. Angels are genderless, however they do embody both masculine and feminine energy reflecting perfect balance and harmony. It is us humans, who need to attach a gender to them as a form of tangible recognition. You will notice however, that these Archangels are referred to as "he" or "she". This is because the roles that the individual Angels play will lean more towards one gender than the other. An example of this would be Archangel Michael, who is physically strong and extremely powerful, thus encompassing more masculine energy while Archangel Jophiel, is very sweet with a gentle and subtle energy, therefore she is perceived as feminine.

Archangels (pronounced "ark" not "arch") are one of 9 choirs of angels in the angelic hierarchy. The hierarchy, from bottom to top is:

Out of all of the choirs, it is the angels and the Archangels who are the most active in helping the Earth and her inhabitants. The Archangels are the overseers of the angels. Archangels are larger and more powerful than angels. All angels are genderless as they encompass both masculine and feminine attributes. It is the human Ego (Ego is fear, our lower selves as opposed to our higher, spiritual selves) that places a gender to them, probably to make them recognizable in a way that is comfortable to us. It is Ego that puts wings on angels! Renaissance painters likely started the idea of angels as having wings as they painted what "eyewitnesses" described what they had seen. The wings that people claimed to see were more likely the blinding aura that surrounds an angel. Angels are non physical as they are extensions of Creator. They are beings of light and there is an infinite number of angels since they are the thoughts of Creator.They are omnipresent meaning they can be in all places at all times so don’t ever fear that your need may be taking them away from someone else that you deem has a more pressing issue than your own.

ARIEL-Her aura color is a pale pink. The crystal associated with Ariel is the rose quartz. Her name means "Lion of God”. She’s often depicted with lions. This nature oriented angel works very closely with the elemental kingdom. She helps us with:

AZRAEL-( Pronounced AZ-ray-el) His aura color is creamy white or eggshell and his associated crystal is creamy yellow calcite. His name means "Whom God helps". Azrael assists us with:

CHAMUEL-(pronounced SHAM u el) His aura color is pale green. The crystal associated with Chamuel is green flourite. Chamuel’s name means "He who sees God" and his roles are multi-faceted. He assists us with:

GABRIEL- (Pronounced GAB-ree-el) Her aura color is copper. Her crystal is citrine. Her name means "God is my strength" *NOTE*New Age faiths claim Gabriel is a female. She plays both a maternal role and business role. A real modern woman! Gabriel helps us with:
HANIEL- (pronounced HAN-ee-el) Her aura color is a bluish/white. Haniel's crystal association is the moonstone. Her name means "Glory of God" or "Grace of God". Haniel is very feminine, etheric and mystical in nature and works with the lunar phases harnessing the moon's energy to help us find ancient lost healing remedies. She is very wise from her experiences working closely with humans. To me, her voice comes through as a gentle whisper. She aids us with:

METATRON- (pronounced MET-a-tron) Metatron's crystal is watermelon tourmaline. The
meaning of his name is not clear, since it does not end in the suffix
"el", nor does the name of his twin, Archangel
Sandalphon. Metatron and Sandalphon are the only 2 Archangels to have
led lives as mortal men. They ascended into Heaven upon physical
death to become Archangels due to their pure and important work on
Earth. Metatron was the wise man Enoch and Sandalphon was the prophet
Elijah. This Archangel is most associated with working with children. When I see Metatron, his height is infinite. He is enormous in stature and power yet kindly and gentle. Metatron also helps us with:

MICHAEL-Michael's aura color is a beautiful royal purple. His crystal is sugalite. Michael's name means "He who is like God" and he oversees the order of angels called "the Virtues". He is the Archangel named specifically in nearly all religious texts. He is highly powerful and likely the most worshipped and called upon Archangel of them all. I could quite possibly dedicate an entire page here to Michael. In fact, I just may! SANDALPHON-(Pronounced SAN-dahl-fon) His aura color is turquois. The crystal for Sandalphon is obviously turquois. As stated above, Sandalphon is the twin brother of Metatron, the only 2 Archangels to have led lives as mortal men. Sandlaphon was known on Earth as the prophet Elijah. The primary role that is Sandalphon's is to carry our prayers to the "ears of God". His presence is so very gentle and subtle you may miss it so if you are calling upon Sandalphon, be sure to pay attention! You may hear the gentle movement or sound of a wing brush by or perhaps you will "think" you heard a voice. Pay special attention to any music you suddenly hear in your mind as they are very likely are the answers to your prayers! This is Sandalphon and he is also here to assist us with:
